On September 29, I located my Brownie, Guide and Pathfinder pins. They weren't hard to find - they were right inside my childhood jewelry box. There is a plus side to being somewhat of a pack rat.
That was the same day I created a Facebook Group called "Monkton Ontario Girl Guides Circa 1985." I only keep in touch regularly with one friend from Guiding, so the purpose of the site was/is to try to connect with as many others as possible. The pins mentioned above (one from Brownies, two from Guides [one for receiving my All-Round Cord], one from Pathfinders and two from the 75th Anniversary) comprise the photo for the Facebook Group.
Yesterday, I finally had enough uninterrupted time on my hands to begin to search for my camp hat. I hadn't seen it in a while, but was quite sure it was in my basement. Fortunately, it was in the first box I looked in. After a run through the washing machine, I am glad to report that it looks good again.
